Social Media Marketing Consultant
We are building a business accelerator with a novel approach to helping enterprises and startups reduce the risks and overcome the challenges involved with bringing new products and services to market.
We are looking to expand our capabilities by bringing on an expert resource in social marketing. This will start as a part-time position on a monthly basis, with the possibility of expansion depending on success. We expect the position to require an average of 10 hours per week.
As our social marketing expert, you will provide expert guidance and hands-on implementation for Novana’s social marketing efforts. Occasionally there may also be a need to assess our customers’ social networking needs and plan social media campaigns for new products and services.
Responsibilities In this position you will:
Manage the development, implementation and coordination of social media strategies with the goal of generating leads and establishing thought leadership
Assist other team members by specifying content needs such as topics for blogs and videos, and assist in preparing that content
Plan and execute social media campaigns to reach our target audience, including posting to various social media channels
Analyze our social media effectiveness by establishing success metrics and identifying and setting up tools to monitor and report on those metrics
Oversee our efforts towards search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM)
Own our corporate presence on social media including LinkedIn
Provide guidance to our team regarding the creation of content such as blog articles, videos and landing pages
Qualifications You must be:
Entrepreneurial and self-motivated
Team player - be ready to collaborate and communicate effectively and efficiently
Experienced in planning and implementing content marketing campaigns via social media platforms, especially LinkedIn
Strong time management, collaboration and communication skills
It would be ideal if you also have:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and 3+ years experience in social media marketing
UX, UI and web design (for landing pages and emails)
Experience with Hubspot, Google Analytics, G Suite, and Wrike (wrike.com)
Compensation is hourly, and the rate will be based on experience. We expect the position to require an average of 10 hours per week.
